1 Peter 3:1-6:
Likewise, wives, be subject (submissive) to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external — the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear — but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening.
1 Peter 3:7:
Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
1 Corinthians 11:3:
But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
Proverbs 14:1:
The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands.
Genesis 2:24:
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Ephesians 5:25:
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.
Matthew 6:28:
So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow:they neither toil nor spin.
James 5:16:
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
